Welcome to Sue's Crafts On-line store offering individually hancrafted switchplates for your home or office. People often ask me how I started decorating switchplates. In Jan 2000, we move to a new (to us) home in Maine. We had the interior newly painted, but the switchplates were very unattractive, all off- white metal plates. Room by room, I started redoing the plates. I started out painting and stenciling the plates. At some point I graduated to decoupage with handmade paper. From there is was a short stretch of the imagination to try fabrics. I hope that you see something you like as you browse the site. If not you can contact me and I will be glad to assist.
